There are no open calls at the moment, but we do accept pitches on a rolling basis.

Pitch A Story

Huellas takes submissions from emerging writers with Indigenous and/or diasporic roots in Abya Yala.

For now, we are looking for texts in English or Spanish, but we hope to expand to include additional languages.

Huellas’ texts run from 3,000 to 5,000 words, as we are looking to be a home for narrative, longform non-fiction.

Contributors are compensated for their work with a modest stipend.
